in building, sculptor Alex Farrar learns to build a wall from his father, a retired brick-layer. it was key to come up with a process that would allow him to film the process largely by himself, to create an intimate atmosphere. they needed a workshop rather than a filmset. the final video work is going to be released in 2025. more information on release!
